Lauren Daniell Psychologist Melbourne

Meet Lauren Daniell: Our Hawthorn Psychologist

If I could sum Lauren up in one sentence:

She is incredibly genuine and true to herself, approaching others with pure warmth and kindness.

When I met Lauren for the first time, I was struck by how easy she was to talk to. Her life experience and down to earth nature, means she can connect on almost any subject.

Lauren has a great ability to connect with others. This is particularly seen in her client work, where she maintains close and long term relationships with her clients. Lauren’s warm nature and ability to relate on multiple topics makes her one of those people you feel you’ve known for years.

For me personally, I feel really lucky that Lauren decided to join our team, as not only can I entrust in her to care for our clients, but I also find her a pleasure to work with. Lauren contributes a lovely energy to the team at Peaceful Mind Psychology, where she is positive about the practice’s future and supportive of her colleagues.

Lauren’s Approach to Therapy

As a psychologist, Lauren combines care and compassion with knowledge and experience. She believes that the best way to approach therapy is to ensure her clients feel trust and confidence in the process. She develops trust with her clients by forming a close relationship based on genuine care, ensuring a non-judgemental space and sharing a laugh from time to time. To ensure her clients feel empowered in the therapy process, Lauren works collaboratively and flexibility with her clients depending on their needs and goals.

As part of her work, Lauren seeks to build her client’s awareness of their strengths, so they feel empowered and confident to achieve their goals. Lauren believes that therapy isn’t just about feeling better: She believes it’s about feeling confident that you can change.
