Sunny appreciates that seeking mental health support can be a little daunting, which is why she endeavours to provide a warm, welcoming and casual environment where her clients feel safe and validated. She values working collaboratively with her clients to achieve their therapeutic goals, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on empathy, honesty, respect, and a bit of light humour.

Sunny has experience working with people of all ages across the lifespan within private practice. Sunny is particularly interested in supporting clients struggling with adjustment and transitional distress, self-esteem and self-worth, depression, emotional dysregulation, intimate partner violence, and trauma-related disorders.

Sunny is passionate and excited about empowering her clients, building upon their existing strengths and celebrating their wins. She takes a ‘formal-casual’ approach to her practice, often drawing upon fun analogies to explain concepts and simplify psychology jargon.
