Experiences and Interests

Gemma has worked with clients presenting with a range of mental health problems. Her professional journey has included various settings, including educational institutions, public health, and private practice. She is interested in working with adolescents and young adults who present with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, stress and burnout, sleep-related problems, eating difficulties, and poor body image.


Gemma’s practice is grounded in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She utilises these therapeutic techniques whilst customising her approach to align with each client’s unique needs and preferences.
