Eloise is a therapist dedicated to using EMDR therapy, a powerful approach designed to help individuals overcome unprocessed emotions and memories.

Approach

Eloise’s approach is very much trauma-informed. She strives to create a safe space for her clients, supporting them to explore how past patterns may be inhibiting positive growth and change.

Experiences and Interests

Eloise predominantly works with individuals who require support overcoming anxiety that has developed from a stressful life experience. Additionally, Eloise provides longer term therapy for clients who want to work through issues relating to self-esteem, perfectionism, anxiety, and self-worth. Eloise is LGBTQIA++ friendly and enjoys working with individuals to explore sexuality, gender, identity, etc.

Therapies

Eloise draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has a particular skillset for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which she combines with schema therapy to help individuals process upsetting memories and maladaptive core beliefs.
