Jessica is an authentic and compassionate psychologist who strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space. She brings warmth and a gentle sense of humor to her work, helping to create a comfortable and engaging therapeutic environment. She values building a strong, reliable, and collaborative relationship, working alongside her clients to identify therapeutic goals and explore their unique experiences. Jessica aims to tailor her support to the individual needs, difficulties, and strengths of the client.

Experience and Interests

Jessica has worked with individuals across the lifespan and across a variety of settings including educational institutions, hospital environments, and within public sectors. This has allowed her to develop a nuanced understanding of diverse client needs and therapeutic approaches. Jessica has an interest in supporting a range of mental health presentations including anxiety, stress, depression, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, alcohol and substance use issues, chronic illness challenges and trauma.

Therapies

Jessica draws on various evidence-based therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (DBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Jessica also utilises mindfulness strategies and relaxation techniques throughout her therapeutic work.

Outside of the therapy room, Jessica enjoys reading, travelling, and trying out new baking recipes. Jessica has a background in competitive dance and enjoys reconnecting with her passion for movement and exercise. She also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
