Approach
Harpy focuses on creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and non-judgemental. She takes time to understand what has brought someone to therapy and what they hope to gain from it, moving at a pace that feels right for the client. Harpy works from a recovery-oriented and strengths-based perspective, helping clients make sense of their experiences, develop coping strategies, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. She will regularly seek feedback from her clients to ensure that they are getting the most from therapy. Harpy’s lived experience informs her commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive, and affirming care, and she strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported.
Experience and Interests
Harpy has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults within public health and education. She has worked with clients struggling with depression and anxiety, self-worth and perfectionism, executive functioning difficulties, personality-related challenges, emotion regulation and anger, grief, addictions, disrupted early attachments and relationships, trauma, and chronic health conditions, as well as those adjusting to changes in function and personality following medical events and diagnoses. Her experience has strengthened her ability to support clients with complex presentations in a calm, grounded, and compassionate way.
Therapies
Harpy draws on a range of different interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She aims to tailor interventions to suit each client’s pace, needs, and goals.

Harpy enjoys having a balance of being social, active, and spending time alone. She enjoys running or practising yoga and Pilates, being in the kitchen testing new recipes, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
