Sheran’s approach to therapy is client-centred and strengths-based, and focuses on creating a supportive therapeutic space where individuals can explore personal challenges, improve self-awareness and work towards mutually identified goals.

Experience and Interests

During the course of Sheran’s career as a clinical psychologist, she has worked in both public and private adult mental health settings in New Zealand, the UK and in Australia. Sheran appreciates that people may need a safe space to talk about their challenges when facing situational crises and/or life transitions, and is able to support individuals with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief, adjustment and stress.

Sheran draws on a number of approaches in her work with clients including ACT, CBT, DBT and Schema Therapy.
