Saskia works to create a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences. She prioritises building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. Saskia is client-centred in her approach, and she is focused on tailoring support to each person’s unique needs and goals.
Experience and Interests
Saskia has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She has worked in educational, public, and private settings, supporting individuals with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem issues, personality disorders, chronic pain and illness, and life transitions.
Therapies
Saskia draws on a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness. She adapts her approach to best support each client’s individual needs.
