Natalie is a warm, genuine, and engaging clinical psychologist dedicated to creating a safe and validating space for clients to explore their inner experiences.

Approach

Natalie adopts a neurodivergent affirming approach and aims to foster a safe, non-judgemental, and inclusive space for her clients. She understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship in promoting positive change. In cultivating an authentic professional relationship, Natalie prefers a collaborative and client-centred approach as she recognises that we all have unique experiences, triggers, and coping mechanisms.

Experience and Interests

Natalie has worked with a variety of complex presentations spanning children, adolescents, and adults across a range of settings. Her professional journey includes roles in early parenting and childhood services, hospitals, educational settings, as well as prisons and behaviour change residential programs. Natalie has experience and an interest in working with issues related to anxiety, self-worth and perfectionism, executive dysfunction, personality disorders, emotion dysregulation and anger, grief, addictions, and disrupted early attachments and relationships.

Therapies

Natalie utilises a range of modalities and therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs including, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, interpersonal process therapy (IPT), schema therapy, as well as being able to draw on concepts from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).
