Approach
Chimene works collaboratively with clients to create a safe and non-judgemental space for reflection, exploration and authentic, meaningful growth. Chimene’s person-centred and trauma-informed therapeutic approach is flexible and tailored, recognising and building on personal strengths, values, and experiences with respect and care.
Experience and Interests
Chimene’s experience includes supporting adults, adolescents, and children from diverse backgrounds. She has experience across community mental health services, schools, and private practice, collaborating with people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and patterns of addictive behaviours. Chimene has a particular interest in supporting individuals and families through significant life transitions, including perinatal concerns, adjusting to life with chronic or acute illness, and making sustained behaviour change.
Therapies
Chimene’s flexible approach aims to accommodate individual goals and preferences. Evidence-based treatments incorporated include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Chimene Personally
Outside of work, Chimene values time with friends and family, exploring new and familiar places especially by the sea. She is drawn to anything that brings together creativity, music, food and friends.
