Abanti’s therapeutic approach is warm, client-centered, and collaborative. Abanti recognises that each individual is unique in their needs, goals and life experience, so she aims to provide a tailored approach for each person she works with.

Experiences and Interests

Abanti has experience working with adolescents and adults in both a private and school settings. She has provided psychological therapy for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, personality disorders, trauma, sleep problems, relationship issues, and grief and bereavement. She also has a keen interest in working with clients with chronic health conditions and experiencing life transitions.

Abanti uses various evidence-based approaches in therapy and has experience in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills and Mindfulness to clients.
