Approach
Ty appreciates that every client is unique. In therapy, Ty attentively sits and connects with his clients to understand their circumstances and perspective. Ty views his clients as resourceful, resilient and able to make choices to achieve outcomes that are important to the client. In the face of adversity, Ty supports his clients to recognise their strengths, how to build on them, as well as insights into how potential thoughts and behaviours that may be contributing to their difficulties or stresses.

Ty has experience working with adults across a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, anger, substance abuse, workplace challenges, stress, self-esteem and wellbeing. Ty has experience coaching employees and leaders to help them with employment and workplace matters, career transition, and work-life balance
Therapies
Ty is a flexible therapist who draws on a range of evidence-based therapies to support his clients. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Strength-Based Counselling.
