Elpida prioritises building a strong therapeutic relationship by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their challenges. She tailors therapy to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances, and works at a pace that feels right for them. Through this collaborative process, Elpida aims to help clients uncover their inner strengths and build resilience through insight and skill development, empowering them to effectively manage various life challenges, emotional struggles, and clinical conditions.

Experiences and Interests

Elpida completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at The University of Melbourne and her postgraduate professional psychology training at Monash University. With experience in both not-for-profit and private practice settings, Elpida has a passion for helping clients manage anxiety disorders such as generalised anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder, as well as anxiety-related issues more broadly. Elpida works with both adolescents and adults at various life stages, offering individual support for a range of presentations, including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, depression, stress and burnout, perfectionism, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem.

Therapies

Elpida adapts her approach to suit each client, drawing from a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, primarily grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She prioritises a strengths-based approach to her work. Elpida is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her practice aligns with the latest best practices and interventions.

Outside of her work, Elpida enjoys nature walks, practicing pilates and yoga, and spending quality time with family and loved ones. With a background in Performing Arts, she also finds joy in attending dance classes to nurture her creativity.
